Choral Methods

The following are videos of my teaching assignments from Choral Methods. For each, there is a video of my teaching, a description of the assignment, and my lesson plan.

Lab Teaching 1

Assignment Description:

For the first lab teaching, I had to lead the choir in an 8-minute warm-up. The warm-up had to include a physical warm-up, an activity that focused on early phonation, resonance, and flexibility.

Assignement Description:

For the second lab teaching, I had nine miniutes to teach a section of a two-part song. In the rehearsal, I was to focus on rhythmic and melodic accuracy.

For the third lab teaching, I had 14 minutes to teach a section of a four-part song. In the rehearsal, I was to focus on rhythmic a d melodic accuracy.

For the fourth lab teaching, I had fourteen minutes to refine the section I had started teaching in the third lab teaching. I was to focus on tone quality, technical preparation, and music
